I was referred to Dr Levinson for a specialty contact lenses fitting. The girls did some testing on my eyes. Then I saw Dr. Levinson. I asked him questions. Each time he turned to look at me, stared at me for 5 seconds or so, then spoke really fast and turned away. Someone named Frita came in the room and just stood there watching me. Very uncomfortable. At no time did he try lenses in my eyes. Only seemed to want to put plugs in my eyes saying I have dry eyes.i had just been to another Dr for eye exam and no mention of dry eyes was told to me. When it came time to order lenses, he wanted me to pay for them before they would order. Never in the years I have had to wear lenses has this been the procedure. My insurance covers the lenses 100%. Patient does not pay Dr. for lenses. He was not very polite at this point. It was suggested to have my previous Dr order them through my insurance as it has always been done in the past. Dr Levinsons office manager does not do it that way so I was told. Dr Brett Levinson then withheld information from the Dr that would order my lenses until he was paid from my insurance company for the office visit. I told this to the previous Dr. They could not believe he was doing this. I would not recommend this Dr to anyone. He does not know how to speak properly, at least to me, to patients. All he seems to care about is how much money and when he can get it from them. I only went to him to begin with because I needed a new set if lenses because the ones I wear now are showing signs of wear and are scarring my corneas. I wasn't able to see the other Dr till April. Couldn't wait that long.

I have been going to Dr. Levinson for 1.5 years for treatment of my dry eyes/MGD. If you suffer from this I highly recommend him. He has helped me tremendously. He is the best along with Jamie and Jen. Jamie has been the one who has worked on my eyes the most along side Dr. Levinson and she is amazing. There are not enough words to describe her. Sara is also one of my favorites. She is always so kind and helpful. I feel welcome when I am here. I drive over 2 hours from Fredericksburg, Va to be treated. Well worth it.

Dr Levinson is too notch with a great bedside manner. He will explain things to you so uii understand and his staff is friendly and professional

We had our annual scheduled appointment with Dr. Kronthal at Specialized Eye Care of Baltimore. He retired; however, the staff at the office only made us aware of this fact a few days before the appointment. Dr. Levinson, who worked with Dr. Kronthal, offered to see our son as a new patient. His office staff gave us a hard time about rescheduling the appointment (again, made a year ago). We accommodated them by changing the previously scheduled time; however, the receptionist was very rude during this process. Dr. Levinson spent less than five minutes with our son, who has extensive visual needs. The tech did all the testing. The eye glass written prescription was incorrect and consequently the glasses have to be remade. When we called from the opticians for a correction Dr. Levinson had us on hold for twenty minutes, had us call back three times and made us wait over an hour until he got on the phone with the optician, only to give the optician the wrong power for the lens. Because the shop is not comfortable with Levinsons prescription and subsequent changes, they referred us to another ophthalmologist to get a corrected prescription. Dr. Levinson filled out disability paperwork incorrectly. He coded the paperwork for a larynx (?) not an eye, prompting another agency to call and again correct his work. He, along with his staff, had many unprofessional things to say about Dr. Kronthal, who was the best ophthalmologist we have ever been to. We will miss him. We will never return to this office. I would not recommend this office to friends, family or coworkers.
